The New Girly-Men

When I heard that Gollyfornia Governator Ah-nuld Schwartzeneggar had referred to somebodies as being “girly-men” who should come before the voters and tell them that they don’t represent them but rather “the special interests, Big Labor and the trial lawyers,” I thought – okay, hoped – he was referring to the Democratic presidential ticket.

He wasn’t, technically – he was referring to Democrats in Sacramento – but the obvious applicability nationally gave me a hearty guffaw anyway. Ditto the reflexive lib outrage, as one left-wing extremist after another, who all cheer with savage glee when President Bush is called a “Nazi” or “worse than [insert dictator’s name here] and his supporters denounced as “digital brownshirts” and is accused of having plotted the 9/11 attacks with, or even in place of Osama bin Laden (al Qaeda was framed for them, dontcha know…), clucked that Ah-nuld should “apologize” for his “sexist” and “homophobic” remarks.

If those people want an official reaction to their dubious protestations of offense, let them call Dick Cheney.
