VBC Missionary News
The importance of prayer was one of the key principles brought out by Valley Bible Church Missions Conference keynote speaker Kameel Kilada. The church body had a chance to put that into practice on the closing night of the conference, when the attending missionaries shared prayer requests. I will be posting one per day over the next couple of weeks.
Ben & Linnea Benthien / Tacoma Pierce County Chaplaincy
The Benthiens have pastored churches in the Pacific Northwest since 1983. Previously they were missionaries in the Philippines. Ben is currently working with Tacoma Pierce County Chaplaincy. Ben and Linnea serve also through Northwest Independent Church Extension as Minister at Large. Their home church is Valley Bible Church in Sumner, WA.
Praise God for healing Linnea's back. Please pray for wisdom to know what to say in traumatic situations. Pray for safety. Pray for the provision of finances and reliable cars. Pray for the eighty teens and twenty adults Linnea has contact with at McDonalds (especially David, Jamie, John, and Bobby).
