What Goes Around Comes Around

After Hurricanes Katrina and Rita battered the U.S. Gulf coast, Muslim fundamentalists in general and al Qaeda in particular gloated that the mammoth storms were punishment directed at the "Great Satan" by Allah.

Well, by that same line of "reasoning," could it not be argued that the magnitude 7.6 earthquake that struck Afghanistan and Pakistan yesterday was Jehovah's retalitation?

No evidence suggests that the deadly earthquake that rocked Pakistan on Saturday injured or killed the world's top terror leader, Osama bin Laden.

The quake shook the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan, where bin Laden is believed to be hiding. However, authorities at this point have no information indicating he's been injured or killed, said a U.S. official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the information's sensitivity.

And, of course, they have no information indicating he survived, either. But one thing's for sure: Jehovah has much better aim than Allah does.
