Inside The Herd
Forget Fat Albert hinting at yet another presidential run, Bill Clinton did it for him by trying to glom his top issue for Hillary right as Gore's version of Chicken Little debuted fizzlingly in theaters. This is purportedly because Mrs. Clinton is losing Hollywood to Gore, a view that is endorsed by the top toe-sucker himself.
Does this remind anybody else of a real-life, geriatric version of Friends? Or perhaps Archie, Reggie, Betty, and Veronica?

Memo to House Democrat campaign strategists: Next time you have the thought that you can regain control of the lower chamber via the scandalmongering/"party of corruption" gambit...let it go.

I would call Harry Reid insane, but for the fact that it would remove personal responsibility for his insanity.
Last week he referred to an official English language amendment ot the immigration train wreck as "racist." But as Brother Meringoff points out, this one utterance contains multitudes of mind-bending hypocrisy:
Except that Democrats are even more anti-border-security/enforcement than is the GOP, and their own Senate leader called that very thing "racist."
It's either insanity or else Reid and his people are trolling for conservative Republican votes on alternate Tuesdays. And given the loopiness of some right-wingers these days, they just might get some.

D'ya s'pose when they finally find the mysterious sealed Karl Rove indictment, they'll also find Hillary's sitting right next to it?

Last week he referred to an official English language amendment ot the immigration train wreck as "racist." But as Brother Meringoff points out, this one utterance contains multitudes of mind-bending hypocrisy:
In the past, as Charles Hurt of the Washington Times notes, Reid has been critical of those who play the race card in an effort to stifle legitimate debate about immigration and its effects. Reid must have taken an incivility pledge as a condition of becoming Senate Minority Leader.
And let's not forget Reid's ridiculous staff. When Senator Dole took offense at the suggestion that she (and indeed two-thirds of the Senate) was being racist, staffer Rebecca Kirszner tried to change the subject to Karl Rove, claiming that he must have told Dole what to say. Reid's operation now having implied that Dole is both a stooge and a racist, his spokeperson added that "Republicans are trying to distract Americans from the fact that they've had five years to secure our borders and fix our immigration system and haven't done it."
