Anti-Bush Rally

You gotta read Rush's coverage of the kook festival in Utah a couple of days ago, where the Salt Lake City mayor "Rocky" Anderson went ballistic on Bush. The man is a nut. Here are a few morsels to whet your appetite:

ANDERSON: Let no one deny that we are patriots. Blind faith in bad leaders is not patriotism. A patriot does not tell people who are intensely concerned about their country to just sit down and be quiet, to refrain from speaking out in the name of politeness or for the sake of being a good host, or to show slavish, blind obedience and deference to a dishonest, warmongering, human rights violating president.

Yep. Sounds like a patriot to me. What gets me is that these people keep claiming that they're being repressed and told to keep quiet, but we hear from them day after day. If anyone is repressed, it is the people who love this country and actually want us to win. We may not be prevented from airing our views, but it sure ain't covered by the MSM like the leftist kooks are. But that's okay. We have other ways of desseminating information now, which of course is driving the Left even nuttier. Here's one more:

We will not stand for it anymore. No more lies, no more preemptive, illegal war based on false information, no more God is on our side religious nonsense to justify this immoral, illegal war. No more humanity. So let's raise our voices and demand, give us the truth, give us the truth, give us the truth!

Wow. This idiot is an elected official.
