On The Go Blogging

Hey, this is kinda fun! I've never blogged away from home before. Emily's competition is going to go way into the afternoon, so I have some "down time." She's studying, so I figured I'd check out the news.

Went to Dr. James Dobson's Focus on the Family web site, and he has an excellent answer to Paul Krugman's sickening article in, where else? The New York Times, and the Democrats in general who are milking this Foley thing for all it is worth, now impugning evangelical Christians in their zeal to make political hay with this scandal. Dr. Dobson writes:

"As we know, the media and the Democrats saw an opportunity to make much, much, more out of it," Dobson said, "impugning the morals and character, not only of this disgraced congressman, but of entire the entire Republican Congress — and Christian conservatives, including me."

Dobson said the liberal media is bizarrely — and wrongly — trying to somehow connect evangelicals with this scandal.

"Somebody is going to have to tell me what in the wide world this indiscretion by a member of Congress has to do with evangelical Christians. And in my case, especially me," he said. "What in the world is the connection there? And yet the media is trying to link us somehow."

Of course they are. The media and the Democrats seem to hate Christians as much as they do Republicans. And gays. Wonder if the gays are getting a little pissed about being used as pawns in the Democrats' game?

Well, my kid is hurrying me along here. Back to the dance!
