The Comparisons
Saw this over at NewsMax:
In the wake of Segolene Royal’s defeat in France, campaign staffers for another woman presidential hopeful – Hillary Clinton – are dismissing comparisons between their candidate and her French counterpart.
"Other than the fact that they are both women, they don’t have much in common,” said Howard Wolfson, Clinton’s communications director.
Uh huh. Does anyone doubt for a nanosecond that had Royal won, the Hildebeast camp would be touting the similarities?
UPDATE: Great Minds Think Alike!
JASmius adds: Why isn't Hillary comparing herself to German Chancellor Angela Merkel? Or hailing the trailblazing role of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher? Perhaps because it isn't really gender that is the determinative factor, but [*GASP*] ideas?
