Meltdown Sunday

My apologies for the all-day absence. The day got pre-empted by a couple of crises - the first being another of my son's emotional/rebellious meltdowns, necessitating some moderately drastic parenting action that ended up consuming most of the day. When that episode finally started to subside, in came the news that while on a shopping sortee to a local mall, my wife's minivan was burglarized.

And, to top that off, I discovered that the "homework" I completed on this personal three-day weekend somehow never got saved on my local hard drive and I had to do it all over again.

So, after all that effort to try and catch up on back-burner blogging, I'm now at least two days behind again.

Ah, life is good.
