ABC/WaPo Poll Frenches Kerry

Also from Tuesday’s KerrySpot on the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll:

Among registered voters, 39% say they're Democrats, 29% Republicans and 26% independents (among likely voters, who account for 55% of adults in this poll, it's 40%-32%-24%). That's more Democratic, and less Republican, than usual; it was 34%-33%-29% among registered voters in the last ABC/Post poll.

Or, put less politely, ABC and the Post skewed the sample to produce a pro-Kerry result.

Adjust the sample to make it representative of the electorate and you get Bush up approximately 49%-44% among registered voters.

Interesting how that matches almost identically the Gallup result (Bush 51%, Kerry 45%).
