Iranian Pre-Emption

And finally, we conclude the week with this little dose of reality:

Iranian Defense Minister Ali Shamkhani has warned that Iran might launch a pre-emptive strike against United States forces in the region to prevent an attack on its nuclear facilities.

'We will not sit (with arms folded) to wait for what others will do to us,' he told al-Jazeera television when asked if Iran would respond to an American attack on its nuclear facilities.

Just ask yourselves – whom do you want sitting in the Oval Office in the event of such an attack? The man who can’t even make up his mind whether to take a piss in his platinum-plated commode standing up or sitting down, or George W. Bush?

I thought so.
