Hey, John's here, man!
That's a line from an old George Carlin bit - "Occupation Foole," if I remember correctly. I just love occasions where I can incorporate lines from old George Carlin bits, mainly because his more recent stuff has sucked ditch water ever since he became such a bitter, hateful old geezer.
Anyway, it is my distinct pleasure to welcome my friend, who is most definitely not a bitter, hateful old geezer, John Ross, to the blogosphere.
John, a one time Democrat party official, has been a member of the Republican Forum since 1995. In the 1970's, John served as precinct chaiman, delegate to county, state, congressional, and national Democrat conventions. It was when John was elected to the Democrat platform committee in 1979, that he realized the Democrat party didn't represent the working man, but only special interests with socialist goals. "There is nothing 'Democratic' about the Democrat Party," quips John.
John joined the Republican Party and the Reagan revolution in 1980. He disagrees with many issues dear to Republicans and relishes heaping criticism on certain Party "Big Shots". "I'm one of the parties harshest critics", says John, "and I'm not afraid to put my displeasure in writing."
John lives in Colorado with his beloved wife Sandi. Together, they design, manufacture, and market fashion footwear and apparel to the teen market.
Actually, John wrote the above himself, but I can vouch for every word of it. The only thing I can add is, like the Romulans, John takes no prisoners.
If Nick Coleman hasn't been waking up at night with the cold sweats up to now, he will be....
