The Glorious Sunset

Do not cast me off in the (A) time of old age; do not forsake me when my strength fails.

For my enemies have spoken against me; and those who (B) watch for my life (C) have consulted together, 11 saying, "(D) God has forsaken him; pursue and seize him, for there is (E) no one to deliver."

O God, (F) do not be far from me; O my God, (G) hasten to my help!

Let those who are adversaries of my soul be (H) ashamed and consumed; let them be (I) covered with reproach and dishonor, who (J) seek to injure me.

But as for me, I will (K) hope continually, and will (L) praise You yet more and more.

My (M) mouth shall tell of Your righteousness and of (N) Your salvation all day long; for I (O) do not know the sum of them.

I will come (P) with the mighty deeds of the LORD GOD; I will (Q) make mention of Your righteousness, Yours alone.

O God, You (R) have taught me from my youth, and I still (S) declare Your wondrous deeds.

And even when I am (T) old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, until I (U) declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.

-Psalm 71:9-18
