Illegals Vow To Pressure Congress

Illegal immigrants and their supporters vowed to keep up the pressure on Congress for reforms after more than 1 million people stepped out of the shadows and poured into the streets in a nationwide show of economic clout.

The rest of the piece was the ASSociated Press doing its best to put over the illegals and their "cause." I was just dazzled by the brazenness of that headline - passive invaders presuming without a moment's thought to bully a foreign legislature to meet their demands. It almost sounds like a call for Hastert and Frist (and Bush) to meet with the reconquistadors to discuss terms of our surrender.

And some think this'll trigger a backlash? Try a tsunami - hopefully one that will sweep at least as far as the Rio Grande.
