Mark Davis pretty much sums up my take on the recent case of foot-in-mouth disease suffered by Virginia Republican Senator George Allen.

Doesn't seem to be slowing down his re-election campaign any (to say nothing of his status as de facto 2008 GOP presidential front-runner - I'll be covering that bit of unconventional wisdom as that election cycle approaches). Not that you'd know that from reading the Washngton Post, though.
