Pelosi's Purpose

Can you believe this broad? Somebody needs to tell Nancy Pelosi she's not the Secretary of State. Going over there and schmoozing with the leader of a terrorist nation, telling us he's ready for peace talks with Israel. Give me a break. Rush is all over this.

Personally, I think her reasons for doing this are twofold: A photo-op, but mostly to embarrass President Bush. She wants to look like she can do something about the situation when he can't. Is she dumb enough to believe that Assad really wants peace with Israel? Hard to believe anyone is that stupid, but if anyone is, she'd be the one.
