A Port In Every Storm & A Turd In Every Pocket

Am I to understand that the same American Left, Democrat Party, and Enemy Media that have spent the past four years ripping George W. Bush as a liar, torturer, Nazi, dictator, warmonger, etc. for invading Iraq to remove a terror sponsor and, well, Naziesque dictator, and using that as a lure to draw the Islamists in to be slaughtered wholesale, is going to seize upon the latest National Intelligence Estimate warning that al Qaeda has found safe haven in northwest Pakistan as "proof" that Bush should have invaded unstable, Islamist-threatened, nuclear Pakistan instead?

The latter is what the Donk co-chair of the infamous Iraq Study Group, Lee Hamilton (who also co-chaired the infamous 9/11 Commission - I'm sensing a pattern here), is suggesting as our next step in the War Against Islamic Fundamentalism - after retreating from Iraq, of course, where we're only engaged with....al Qaeda, and grinding them into free meatloaf for the Iraqi poor. Meanwhile, Pakistan is an ally in the war, at least nominally, possesses a formidable military made formidable by the weaponry we've sold them over the past twenty years, and, again, has a small but not inconsiderable nuclear arsenal that, if it wasn't used against our invading forces, would likely fall into the very hands we'd be trying to evict from Pakistani territory - Osama bin Laden's.

Let's try to put this in a form the libs might be able to dimly understand:

Iraq = Saddam Hussein, al Qaeda = enemy

Pakistan = Pervez Musharraf = friend

Generally speaking, you attack your enemies, not your friends. That's why I'm an advocate of liberating Iran and Syria as we did Iraq. Pakistan doesn't need liberating, unless you're an al Qaeda sympathizer or a Bushophobe who would love to see the President blunder into an unnecessary war for real.

Hmmm; we may be onto something....
