Mea Culpa w/ Double Helping of Nuance

This is from the Washington Post Wednesday: “Aides say Kerry may soon apologize for some of his most heated comments during the Vietnam War protests of the early 1970s, a move that would rekindle the debate for a few more days.”

Well, nothing un-nuanced about that, is there? I wonder what his threshold of “most heated comments” will be.

Here’s a safe bet – whatever he ends up saying (assuming he doesn’t change his mind again), it won’t be enough.

Not that it would matter at this point anyway.

UPDATE: Hey, why didn’t Lurch just say that he was in Cambodia shopping for a Christmas tree for his Swiftboat squadron’s “holiday” party? Woulda saved a lot of time and bother…
