Out of Power

Today was my day off. And, aside from picking up my daughter from the dentist's office this morning, I spent the bulk of it the same way the Democrats have spent the past five years: out of power.

Oh, sure, you laugh (and you should, because that's the idea), but no power in mid-February outside of the Sunbelt on one of the coldest days of the winter in the middle of a wind storm kind of takes the yuk out of my giggle. I still looked and sounded the same, but that was just my shivering.

So much for catching up. Guess that'll make the regular weekend even more packed than usual.

But then so what else is new.
