Promised Strength

10 Behold, the LORD God will come (A) with might, with His (B) arm ruling for Him; behold, His (C) reward is with Him and His recompense before Him.

11 Like a shepherd He will (D) tend His flock, in His arm He will gather the lambs and carry them in His bosom; He will gently lead the nursing ewes.

My family and I could use some of that strength right now, as we're trying to help our son avoid being academically expelled from the private junior high school where he is thus far merely impersonating a seventh grader. He's got three weeks from yesterday to turn things around, and knowing him as I do, I can't say with any confidence that he'd learn anything from failing. God willing, we won't have to find out.

Yeah, it's another excuse for bloggus interruptus. But it's a good one.
