What Timing!

Gee whiz, now all of a sudden we're seeing stories like this one about Harry Reid and several other Democrats being fingered by Jack Abramoff. Just a coincidence, of course, that all of this is found out AFTER the election. Kinda reminds you of the timing of the Foley thing, doesn't it?

Why is it that so many Americans allow themselves to be suckered by these people time and time again? I don't pay any attention whatsoever to AP or Reuters stories or anything out of the "mainstream" media. I thought more and more people were feeling that way, but after last week's election I'm starting to wonder.

JASmius adds: Indeed. The Enemy Media may no longer be the monopoly it once was, but it's still dominant and far more powerful and influential than the mainstream media (i.e. Fox, talk radio, the blogosphere) will ever be.

I never really bought into Hugh Hewitt's "legacy media" spiel. Last Tuesday should give you a good idea of why.
