APB On Me

Where've I been since the show ended Saturday morning? Well, that's a complicated answer. (1) the Internet connection in my den is down, for all intents and purposes, and I can't figure out why; (2) that puts me in the queue for using the other home machine, and while I can "pull rank" and throw my kids off of it any time I want, it doesn't set a good example for them; (3) it's another swamped week at work, and I just couldn't get here until now.

I'll resume talking about others as soon as I can get my next turn in the living room. Unless I get waylayed by my wife again, who spent the weekend moving her mother out of her assisted living facility three hundred miles away preparatory to relocating her in our community.

And I thought MY weekend sucked....

UPDATE: The silver lining in this is that when one is a slithering reptile, taking a few days off really doesn't matter a whole heckuva lot.
