"Sailor" Gets Blogswarmed
Captain Ed is a blogswarm today all by himself on that pompous-ass hypocrite:
Revisiting The Keating 5
Screaming Hypocrisy
Mr. Clean?
It sure appears as if the only thing John McCain learned from the Keating Five scandal was to avoid being so sloppy in sixty-nining his pet special interests. And to parlay a political pharisee act into unrequittable presidential ambitions.
Senator Queeg may yet succeed in crushing whatever vestiges of the First Amendment still remain intact in the wake of the swath of destruction cut by the so-called Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act. But I think he'll at least wonder, as he takes his seat at Hillary's inauguration four years from now, whether he should have just left well enough alone.
