Just as predicted the Senate debate on Immigration Reform fell flat..the partisan fighting over the provisions of the bill was insurmountable by the wobbly crew of comfortable incumbents...all were jokeying for some illusory position in the '06 or '08 elections.
After listening to the debate all week, perhaps the 2 week Easter Break is a blessing in disguise...sometimes it's best if the distracted members of Congress do nothing but look for Easter eggs and steer clear of the briar patch till after November.
Tell ya the truth...the House Bill, which got a bad rap by the compassion mongers..is starting to look like the way to go...Enforce the Border..could it be that simple?
