Add Gary Aldrich to the list of pundits who soothsay Bush is going to bury Kerry in November. Though to read the first 90% of his column, you’d think that President Kerry had already arrested the Swift Vets and sent them to rot in Gitmo after having released the al Qaeda detainees. So does Mr. Aldrich think the Democrats are invincible or does he think they’re tomato cans? Maybe he’ll disclose that in his next book.

Meanwhile, Duncan Maxwell Anderson doesn’t make an outright prediction, but leaves little doubt about what his tea leaves tell him when he declares this election to be a referendum on “manhood” in a post-9/11 world.
