Senator John Kerry said this – before the first Gulf War in 1991. This is the same “unilateral aggression” that he is now citing as the model of multilateral cooperation.

I’m sure that Pappy would find this belatedly gratifying, but a simple birthday card would have been much less…well, “nuanced”…
