(Yawn) What Happened (Scratch) to Saturday?

I've learned one of the manifestations of being officially middle-aged: stay up half the previous night in the throes of romance, and then spend all day carting the kiddies around to their season-ending basketball games and shortly-thereafter ensuing team parties, where much pizza and salad bar offerings and soda were consumed, and the end result is crashing within thirty seconds of arriving home on a coverless, sheetless bed for thirteen hours of coma-esque slumber. I guess I'm fortunate wifey didn't make the bed over the top of me.

I'll get to yesterday's games and current events commentary this afternoon. In the mean time, here's yesterday's VBC missionary update.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The importance of prayer was one of the key principles brought out by Valley Bible Church Missions Conference keynote speaker Kameel Kilada. The church body had a chance to put that into practice on the closing night of the conference, when the attending missionaries shared prayer requests. I will be posting one per day over the next couple of weeks.
Steve & Sarah Holmes / New Tribes Mission (Paraguay)
The Holmes family serves as church planters in Paraguay. NTM is committed to plenting churches among tribal peoples who have no access to the Gospel.
Please pray for grounding in the Word for the tribal church following rapid growth. Pray for open doors for ministry and boldness to communicate truth. Pray for wisdom and discernment in dealing with others. Pray for Sarah's and Angela's health concerns.
