VBC Missionary News
The importance of prayer was one of the key principles brought out by Missions Conference keynote speaker Kameel Kilada. The church body had a chance to put that into practice on the closing night of the conference, when the attending missionaries shared prayer requests. I will be posting one per day over the next couple of weeks.
Bob & Katherine Rodgers / NICE (Washington field directors)
Bob and Katherine are NICE field directors in Washington. They both grew up in the Puget Sound area. They joined the NICE family in 1982 and served pastorates in Keyport, Washington and Culdesac and Hailey, Idaho. In 2002, they returned to their home area to direct and encourage NICE missionaries in Washington. The youngest of their four children is still at home.
Please pray for a couple of pastors who are deciding whether or not tomove to a different ministry. Pray as both Bob and Katherine have opportunities to teach. Pray for a Mentoring for Ministry seminar Bob will be doing in Wenatchee, Washington on March 19th. Pray for safety as they travel, and for more workers.
