Campaign 2006 Scoreboard Update

Just crunched some polling numbers (yes, which includes correcting for pro-Donk bias). Here is my latest, hot out of the mental oven.

SENATE:

Jim Talent in Missouri and Tom Kean, Jr. in New Jersey inch back ahead, reducing my projected GOP net loss to three seats:

Republican pickup:

Kean over Bob Menendez (NJ)

Democrat pickups:

John Tester over Conrad Burns (MT) - Tester's projected margin has shrunk to three points.

Sherrod Brown over Mike DeWine (OH) - Left-wing extremist by seven.

Bob Casey, Jr. over Rick Santorum (PA) - Empty suit legacy boy by nine.

Sheldon Whitehouse over Lincoln Chafee (RI) - Whitehouse's projected margin has evaporated into a flat-footed tie, but I'm still leaning against the RINO turncoat.

HOUSE: Get ready for Speaker Pelosi - the Donks, at least for the moment, have their fifteen seat pickup.

I'm sure glad it's not two weeks from now.
