Thuggishness As Bad Comedy

Hey, did you know Senator Larry Craig (R-ID) is a queer? Neither did he! And what is his lousy, rotten bastard "outter" Mike Rogers' proof? He doesn't have any!

The funniest part is Senator Craig isn't even up for re-election this year. I mean, sheesh, why didn't Rogers pile on, say, Rick Santorum? At least he looks like he could be the centerfold in Honcho magazine. Or George Allen for the irony factor - c'mon, who couldn't get mileage out of "Deer heads weren't the only things Allen was stuffing in boxes...."

The real irony is that Rogers, a self-proclaimed "gay rights crusader," seems to be out to make miserable the lives of every homosexual who does not wish to publicly flaunt that orientation. That seems awfully, well, homophobic to me.

But that's just a byproduct of his Republiphobia, which will, if there's any justice left in this country, ultimately get detestable assholes like Rogers so buried in defamation/libel suits that the worms can't even find him.
