Time To Move To Another Platform

For a variety of personal reasons my blogging has diminished considerably of late. Today I have attempted two long posts, one on North Korea, one on Iraq. Blogger tried to eat the former, and succeeded in eating the latter.

The frustration engendered by the chronic glitches and failures of this weblog venue at a time when motivation to perpetuate the endeavor grows scarce defies expression. Suffice it to say I've weighed and mulled the option of moving on to Typepad or full-blown Moveable Type software several times in the past. That move may finally have arrived, courtesy of this final straw.

They say you get what you pay for; in this case, that's no longer sufficient.

UPDATE: Oh, sure, NOW it publishes without so much as a hiccup....
